I don't want to control the firewall with sipxconfig. I want sipx to identify potential attacks and let the firewall take the information and automatically defend against it.
I can block by ip. I can block by connections per second. I can run scripts to crash remote UA's on certain types of scripts (i.e. sipvicious) at the firewall. I was hoping to have sipx provide some meaningful data in a defense is all. A simple file with ip and UA identifiers in them. The ip's could be automatically blocked. If the UA's are in the "i can crash these remotely), then running a script for that UA type against that IP at the firewall automatically might be fun too.
