[SLUG] Vnc Linx and Solaris colour problems

Hey sluggers,

has anybody been using VNC with solaris (on sparc) as the server and linux as
the viewer?
I've got a 16bit colour depth on my linux desktop and I've tried every config
variable in 
the vncserver and vncviewer that I can think of but still the colour of the
Solaris desktop
is crappy. The normal blue backgrounds are all dreary grey and the normally
maron window 
border is grey, though various shades of red, blue, green and yellow show up in
the icons 
on the desktop menu. The Linux viewer looks fine controlling NT boxes and vnc
servers on
other Linux boxes.

Does anyone have a good setup config for Solaris that they'd like to share?
