Having never used any other AP than StarOS, it makes me wonder if other APs display the speed that clients are transmitting at. If other APs do not display this information, as StarOS does, it would make sense that only people using StarOS are noticing it. I've got Smartbridge clients, Orinoco clients, and a handful of WET11s on my network. When I lock the Orinoco and WET11 clients to a certain speed, they stay there.
