Right. But if I set it to 1 Mbit and no auto fallback, then why does the Access Point show the client still jumping up and down from 2 to 11 Mbit? The AP is a StarOS.
I'm trying to get this installation to work, and I don't know or understand why it isn't. The customer has essentially no speed up or down, even though the numbers look good. I can ping the box 50,000 times with 128 byte packets and get them all through, but if I use 512 byte packets (or 1472 byte packets), then nearly nothing get's through. This essentially means that the link seems good, and I can monitor it well, but they can't really download anything without it timing out. -Todd From: "Vasu (sB Tech Team)" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > The set speed is to determine what is the maximum limit of throughput > you can have on a link, Have the AutoFallBack Rate enabled so that if > the set speed is not achieved then the connection does not get dropped > off, > Vasu > > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > When I set my airBridge Outdoor to 1 or 2 Mbit fixed > rate, and turn off the autorate fallback, my Access Point > still shows it changing up and down from 1 to 11 Mbit. > Is this a problem with my StarOS Access Point or with > the SmartBridge not staying at it's set speed? > - Todd The PART-15.ORG smartBridges Discussion List To Join: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] (in the body type subscribe smartBridges <yournickname> To Remove: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] (in the body type unsubscribe smartBridges) Archives: http://198.63.203.6
