I agree. Get a better sector antenna with a wider vertical beam. The Maxrad WISP24090-14 is a great one with 14.5db gain and a 14 degree vertical beam. Also you might try turning down the power of the CPE a little at a time and see if that helps. We had one at 7 miles like that. They were getting about 400kbps and we started turning down the power just for kicks. We settled in at about one third of the way up from 11.5db on the scale and started getting 2.5 Megabit.
