I've got something similar. It needs some polish though. (no I don't mean Polish, although multi-language support would be cool..)
www.kistech.com/wireless/powercalc.asp I'll get it cleaned up a bit more soon. Once I do, I'll send a copy over to ya Marlon. I've also got a quick and dirty stupid little power converter page at www.kistech.com/wireless/convert.asp. It converts between db and mW. There was a script written in Perl that was available for a while that has ended up on a whole bunch of ISPs and vendor's websites. I took that script and just used the formulas for calculating the necessary stuff. All the rest of the programming is original. There's also a download speedtest page that as it turns out is VERY accurate. It uses JavaScript and seems to work very well. If anyone wants the original script that I got from the guy who gave it to me just let me know and I'll post the link for the download. The test is at www.kistech.com/speedtest. If you are on a VERY HIGH speed link, don't expect my 1.1 Megabit DSL to keep up with you. :-) Kevin Summers KISTech Internet Services Inc. www.kistech.com > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Marlon Schafer > (509-982-2181) > Sent: Thursday, July 31, 2003 2:08 AM > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: Re: [smartBridges] Throughput Question > > > That was a poke at history...
