Hmm to me that don't make a whole lot of sense to place the ups up in
the tower !?
Number one you have no way to power cycle the equipment without
putting in some sort of remote controlled device ($$$$$).
Two UPS batteries don't like to much heat or cold. Most UPSes I seen
have a operation environment requirements/limitations of 32 - 104F.
A close by lightning strike and the overload protector will blow and
needs to be reset.
Unnecessary additional weight load on the tower (smallest ones weight
around 10lbs).
Plus the battery will not last for every. It needs to be replaced
every 2-3 years

Just make more sense to me to have the UPS at the ground level where
you can maintain it since they are not maintenance free and then you
can easily do powercycles and you don't need as large nema box up
there (less windload) and less weight.

Or is there something I'm missing ?
