I first noticed it before I had any customers.  I have also noticed it when I have done tests in the office corridors without any customers on the test links.

Perhaps it's because there are more users on the system now and people tend to download more than they upload hence using up the available downstream bandwidth.

For approx 1 week after my installation I was consistently getting 1.2 � 1.5 M download speed and approx 800K to 1.0 M upload (www.testmy.net)

 

For the last two weeks I only get between 300-600K download but 900 � 1.2 upload.

 

Any ideas?  I thought normally download would be faster, not the other way around?
