I'm almost done with the config packages. I guess your problems are the result of a bad configuration.
I just noticed that I have the choice of fso-config-general and fso-config-gta02. I previously had fso-config-gta02 but I see that fso-config-general is more recent. I'll give that a try now.
If you want all hints frameworkd can give you set log to stderr, log level to INFO and start frameworkd via (root) shell.
INFO gives more information than DEBUG? I have been using DEBUG which is OK apart from too much output from idlenotifier.
