Biarpun sebetulnya kewajiban menyerahkan SPT ke KPP cukup merepotkan kami yang bekerja. Bayangkan saja, kami kerja di Jakarta , rumah di Depok, harus datang ke KPP di Depok, pada hari dan jam kerja. Artinya, kami harus ambil cuti beberapa jam (atau bahkan sehari penuh) untuk urusan pajak di dunia yang serba online ini. Maaf Mas, kantor kami tidak ada istilah izin atau kabur sebentar, kalau mau melakukan urusan pribadi di jam kantor ya harus dipotong cuti. Mungkin Mas Dul akan bilang, pakai e-SPT aja. Wah..lha Mas, boro-boro ngisi e-SPT, lha wong di-download saja sudah habis berjam-jam tidak bisa, je... Nah...sesudah secara khusus datang pada jam kerja di hari Sabtu bulan Desember lalu, kami yang tidak tahu menahu harus ngapain, datang jam 9.30 pagi, disuruh bertemu AR-nya dulu (SPT sudah diisi di rumah). Tahukah Mas Dul apa yang kami temui? Ruangan AR yang masih kosong melompong, cenderung gelap gulita, ditambah beberapa Wajib Pajak lain yang sama bingungnya seperti kami, dan secara serempak melihat jam tangan kami masing-masing untuk memastikan bahwa kami tidak datang terlalu pagi saat itu. Akhirnya kami turun, dan SPT kami serahkan ke petugas di bawah. Diterima dan diberi tanda terima manual karena saat itu sedang offline (???). Saya yang hendak membuat NPWP atas istri, dipersilahkan mengisi formulir, namun harus kembali ke kantor yang sama 3 hari kemudian, dengan janji mudah-mudahan kartunya sudah selesai (artinya, cuti lagi dong...). Lengkaplah penderitaan kami ini sebagai warga negara yang sadar kewajiban, tapi direpotkan ketika hendak melakukan kewajiban kami atas kesadaran sendiri. Usul saya... kenapa sih NPWP (dan nomer-nomer yang lain) tidak dibuat single saja, satu nomer untuk 1 warga negara, yang bisa diambil dari nomer registrasi kelahiran kita? Jadi anggaplah kita ini sejak dilahirkan menjadi semacam "barang dari pabrik" yang diberi nomer (barcode he..he...), dan nomer itu menjadi nomer registrasi kita sebagai WN seumur kita hidup. Nomer yang sama akan terus melekat di NPWP, KTP, SIM, dsb. Jadi...tidak akan ada dong suami yang kawin lagi dengan istri muda dengan memakai identitas perjaka. Bagaimana Mas Dul?
