I still think that the law giving the spouse the decision making authority is for the best, but there should also be some legal remedy possible when the case isn't clear.  If for no other reason than each case will always be different.

I guess that maybe it is only a reflex action, but thats very hard to believe. When Tony was classified as brain dead he did some of the same things, doctors insisted that they were reflexes. But when you see a person that is close to you watch you move around the room or attempt to smile at you or squeeze your hand when you ask them to or blink twice when asked, it is nearly impossible to tell yourself that it is only reflex.
