Lucky you! Yeah, I've seen Bald Eagles on the Harrison River, near Harrison Mills, and the Cheakamus River when the salmon are running. Several years ago, when our oldest dog was a pup, we visited Campbell River on Vancouver Island. Day before we arrived, a momma eagle took a small, white, poodle; carried it to the nest, and fed the young one. Needless to say, unless you're a toy poodle lover, it's no great loss. My ex-mother in law had one, thing was a real pest, always humping your leg.
