"Sometimes you need to be told you are being an ass and not tiptoe around
it." I thought i just did... :P

"I don't think my usage of the term "conspiracy theory" was as bad as you
are making it out to be."

Ou ! never been called a conspiracy theorist before. I could debate the
deficient nature of your labeling.

The beauty is, I don't need to.

I see Features being staggered over multiple releases.

I see clientèle subsequently having to pay more to finally get full
functionality.

And i see a corporate giant buying up all the M&E DCC's from the past
decade, effectively creating a Monopoly !

etc...

This is not a conspiracy theory, its an observation.

Drawing conclusion on the nature of these actions is a theory.

Yours is hence a problem of interpretation.

And that's the point, AD's PR has traditionally been so bad that the only
available interpretations are:

- EVIL!
or
- Incompetent

That is why people tend to agree with me here, because it fits the world
view you have perpetrate time, after time, after time.

"The number of combinations increases as a factorial as both company size
and customer base increase, and that has a direct impact on interaction."

Hello Maurice :) Jeez, you almost make it sound like buying up all those
DCC's was a bad idea :P

"If asked all the companies discussed on this list to comment on the
following question "Have never in the past nor will ever in the future
consider selling yourself to Autodesk?"

Said with the polite incomprehension that this is not a good thing.

There potential willingness to sell doesn't reflect badly on them. Your
potential eagerness to buy does however reflects negatively upon you.

I'd like to take a moment to say Maurice that you are actually my favorite
AD visage on this list :) you come of a lot more human and collected.

Hey Luc Eric

As entertaining as your retroactive defense can be, maybe you should pick a
topical competitor to bash, you know a living one.

Outing competitors for similar deficiencies really shouldn't be the brunt
of your argument. If AD has a flaw it should seek to fix it, not justify it
on grounds that the other guy has the same issue.

Your hate boner for SI and it's past development is perplexing, I don't
much care about the behaviors of previous developers.

As for the state of ICE v.01 regardless of what had yet to be done, i think
you will find the demo vid speaks for itself.
