There is example in Maya doc how to use dynamic hair for spring like BUT it
is nowhere near to mt_spring, and as I remember there are couple small
annoying things to take care of if you want it to work properly, like what
and wher to attach to and similar. But if there isn't another addon or
script for maya to help out with that then 1st stop would be dynamic hair
in maya doc.
