Fair point about the patents of course, it is a no brainer. I mentioned cloud because it is a subject it keeps popping out, specially since the Solid Angle acquisition and from where I stand can only make sense if there is a degree of certainty on costs and a clear advantage on scalability, both not easy at all to fulfil. If anything I believe it is going on the other direction altogether.
