I've finally bitten the bullet and cross-compiled sox_ng for Windows using MXE.

There's no functional change since 14.5.0 , but people seem to think that supporting Windows users is important, and several people have complained at the lack of PDF documentation so that's in the zip file too, which is so big (30MB) because it also includes executables for wget and ffmpeg to be able fo read the extra four dozen audio and video file formats.

The last time I compiled anything for Windows was for Windows 3.1 and I've only tested it on Windows XP with a sound card that XP doesn't have a driver for, so I'd be grateful to know whether it works smoothly for current Windows, to know whether the format of the release is right (a ZIP that you unzip with EXEs) for 2024 instead of 1994 and to know if I can make it better in any way.

If I don't hear of any problems within a week, I'll make a fool of myself in public.
