Yes, i believe that materials are created with the texture you give in
Blender.
You can also edit the material in the soya editor to ensure it is good
(the editor displays a cube with the material, which is normally
textured).

Maybe... You are using bitmap files as texture (PNG or TGA) ? The
blender exporter does NOT export blender algorithmic textures.
