The Blender model looks exactly the same in the Soya editor (no texture), any Soya-created model displays fine. I suppose I should

created when you export to Soya?

Yes, i believe that materials are created with the texture you give in Blender. You can also edit the material in the soya editor to ensure it is good (the editor displays a cube with the material, which is normally textured).

This has never worked for me, so I try to create the model in Blender and texture it in the Soya editor,
which never works out right. Is it possible that something I'm doing
wrong in Blender is causing the texture coordinates not to be
generated?

Maybe... You are using bitmap files as texture (PNG or TGA) ? The blender exporter does NOT export blender algorithmic textures.

I'm using PNG for textures, but the blender2soya script never generates a material. Whether I try to texture the exported model through the Soya editor or programmatically it still ends up looking the way I described earlier. I can use either approach to texture a model created with soya and it looks fine. Also, any soya model created by anyone else with blender (like those in the examples and game tutorial) displays fine. Is there any way to manually "fix" the texture cooridate problem, possibly by loading the pickled .data file and hand editing something? If not,
any other suggestions? By the way, sorry about the duplicate message before (my mail server has been acting strange lately).
