Somewhat off this particular thread, but my little IPX gives the following:

Having observed a comment about changing video resolution, i.e.,
"... 1600x1280
1280x1024
1152x900 (double buffered) ...",
how does one determine the video memory available on one's machine, then how is the
video resolution actually modified?
