This was the original question - how to determine how much video
memory you have (Solaris will print it out on bootup) Most GX
graphics cards have 1MB. The LX on board TGX is special in that it
can accept 1MB VSIMM to give you 2MB. The TGX+ has 4MB but is much
rarer.
To change the resolution from the prom "ok" prompt:
setenv output-device screen:r1280x768x67
or
setenv output-device screen:r1152x900x76
There is something about the "r" after the colon, but right now I
can't remember it.
