I have seen this several times before, but don't know the brand or model number of the BFP. The condition is aggravated by the presence of trapped air in the system, and sometimes occurs even if there is no BFP. You might try shutting the system down and relieving the pressure through the ITV. Then slowly fill the system with the ITV open until water comes out. This gets as much air out as is possible without providing other means of air release. Of course this won't help if the ITV is taken from the riser. Supply Pressure is 60 psi static, 55 psi Residual at 2" Main Drain Test. The WF Switch is mounted horizontally in a straight length of 6" Sch 10 48" from closest change in direction. Inspectors test is located downstream end of a branch line 1/2" orifice in place. The sprinkler contractor suspects theres a problem with this particular BFP. Anyone had a similar problem.
