Don't know if you have anyone that does plumbing in your office but I use a table out of the plumbing code labeled "Flow of water through Schedule 40 Steel Pipe". You might be able to find it online as well. It has the pressure drop as well as the velocity through steel pipe. I have to do all my calcs by hand and so I created Excel spreadsheets to help.

I know the formula that's in the book but I was hoping there might be a reference chart or something you could use instead. I have a "Construction Master 5" calculator for working with feet and inches but it's not set up to do compound formulas like the Hazen-Williams, sure would hate to have to buy another one just to do formulas....... _______________________________________________ Sprinklerforum mailing list [email protected] http://lists.firesprinkler.org/mailman/listinfo/sprinklerforum To Unsubscribe, send an email to:[EMAIL PROTECTED] (Put the word unsubscribe in the subject field)
