Forum, Thanks for the responses on this one. I don't know why I always get stuck with this goofy stuff left over from my predecessors.
Cliff, you must be a mind reader or know what project I'm talking about. The rooms are fairly small. Somewhere between 6 and 8 pendent heads. The pocket is roughly 8' x 12' and we showed two sidewalls in that. I'm going take the safe way out and avoid the issue by replacing the sidewalls with uprights spaced at the minimum distance from the wall. It won't look as nice and might be a little more obtrusive into the working space but it makes this issue go away. Seeing as how I'm in fire modeling class right now, I guess I should work on modeling this issue this weekend. I'm not sure fire modeling programs can differentiate from pendents and sidewall sprinklers but I'll look into it.
