The Engineer of Record has indicated that standpipe hose valves shall be located in a building that we are designing. Of course he hasn't shown how they are to be connected, his note is to connect to the sprinkler system. In the past I have ran a separate main w/ a control valve from the riser to feed the hose valves. Can they be connected to the sprinkler mains?
