The specs and contract usually address it, sometimes by incorporating another
contract If they don't, take your best position for a change order. I have
found that sometimes a call to the attorney can help too.

Good mornin'. I have always been under the impression that the contract
drawings for a project take precedence over the specifications. This was
just passed down from my early involvement in the trade and have never seen
this documented. Is there anything anywhere that this is on paper like
"Engineering For Dummies" or "So You Want To Be An Architect", etc.? I have
a conflict between the two.
