Don't have a 2002 but how does the wording compare to the 2008?

Subject: Electrical Rooms and Archives

I usually save Forum postings if I expect to need them in the future.  Of
course, I thought I knew the rules on dedicated space for electrical equipment
well enough that I did not need to save the latest round of discussion on this
subject.  Now I have the following comment on a submittal:

"Provide a note that no HVAC, plumbing or fire sprinkler lines will pass
through the electrical rooms.  Only what services this room is permitted in
this room.  2002 NEC 110.26."

I am pretty sure this was discussed in the last month or so and the consensus
of the Forum was that there was no such restriction.  In one location on the
web I went to the AFSA archives, but can't find anything newer than 2004.  I
may be looking in the wrong place.  From the current afsa website, I cannot get
the archives (member only?)

Can anyone give me a quick tutorial on finding this subject in the archives,
please?
