Could be there are obstruction issues? Easier to change heads than move
installed piping in occupied warehouse.

Not everyone seems to understand bridging, HVAC, joist clearances, etc.
despite the availability of FM's guidelines.

Subject: FM ESFR replacement?

I am working with a company that has an ESFR warehouse previously
approved by FM. Now, according to them, FM made a recommendation to
remove the ESFR heads and replace them with K14 control mode
sprinklers. I'm trying to get a copy of the report. Anybody run into
this before? Any idea why they would suggest this?
