This is directing us to the use of listed window sprinklers - however this is also under 7.7 which is Outside Sprinklers for Protection Against Exposure Fires. (Also located under this heading in 2007 but its 7.8.8.4 with changes) There is no true direction for this as these windows are inside separating two areas, the engineer shows standard spray pendent sprinklers but with no direction the only way to do it correctly (in my opinion) is utilize the listed window sprinkler. Next battle w/engineer - they have horizontal mullions and the sprinkler is not listed for windows with horizontal mullions. What did you find? I didn't think there was anything about glass in 13. What Tim referenced is for vertical openings. Not applicable to glass walls.
