We installed extra FDCs on a place where we'd installed K25 ESFR at 60 PSI- But there were hydrants with a very strong city supply available nearby.
Yea, if it goes, I'll know 2 counties away from the black smoke. Maybe I shouldn't send these emails out the week we renew our insurance :) I understand your dilemma- "we want another one of these". I'd just try to make things as obvious as you can as to what is what, and hopefully relay to the PM that the FDC should come in for a preplan. glc -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Splawn, Shannon Sent: Monday, November 02, 2009 3:54 PM To: [email protected] Subject: RE: Test header at pump house They will have private yard hydrants; in fact, lots and lots of them. And with a flow meter installed, you only have to flow water and measure it every -3 yrs? Sorry, I didn't commit #25 to memory, but its less than annually. IF you end up with a storz FDC and Storz test header, I'd make signage so obvious- never mind, it won't matter. They'll hook LDH up to the first storz they come to and start pumping.
