I saw suggestions but no response-
What exactly is the ITM guy to do with the storz connection?
Pitot?

I guess they didn't read the part of the handbook where the FDC is a
supplement, not a replacement supply- 3- 5" storz to a 12" header?
Does the responding FD have enough oomph to pump in with this much? Is there
a massive hydrant bank or alternative outlet on the tank for the FD to take
suction from, or something large to draft from?

Each storz has a 6" butterfly control valve. The plan also includes a flow
meter that is returned to the storage tank. As I said, this is just me
copying the design done by another for this customer and I've learned not to
question a lot of what was done beforehand...

I'd say that this is ok if you supply the owner with 3 - 5" storz hose
monsters, to be kept on site in the pump house for ITM use . Is there a
valve you could use to control the flow from each connection? (How to
balance the flows if not?) Wouldn't a flow meter be cheaper than 3 Storz and
hose monsters?

Yep. I had to add the FDC to my plans because it did have one on the
"original"

The test header has (3) 5" storz connections on a 12" manifold and 12" pipe
from two fire pumps.

Are you sure it isn't the FDC with the Storz connection?

Not sure about it who will do the ITM. It's a case where I am duplicating an
existing fire pump house to a brand new site in another state and the
existing one is set-up like I described. I just am not 100% comfortable
with the way it was done but at the same time I am not 100% certain that it
was "wrong" per NFPA 20 or Factory Mutual.

Just whoever does ITM (or for that matter the initial acceptance) do they
have 5" storz hose adapters and way to split the flow to hose monsters or
playpipes or I guess do they make a 5" hose monster. I don't easily.

Is there any thing "wrong" with using 5" Storz-type connections for a fire
pump test header in lieu of the standard 2-1/2" hose valves?
