8.13 In-Rack Sprinklers. 8.13.1 System Size. The area protected by a single system of sprinklers in racks shall not exceed 40,000 ft2 (3716 m2) of floor area occupied by the racks, including aisles, regardless of the number of levels of in-rack sprinklers.
