I had an expansion tank/anti-freeze issue just this AM. Residential 13D system (pump & tank) with an anti-freeze loop, but no expansion tank. When I asked, I was told that they "drilled a 1/16th inch hole in the check valve on the anti-freeze loop which is the same as having the tank."
Really???? I've seen some strange things, but this was a first. James M.
