If you really want EA-1s that are still listed (that is 1/4 EA-1s
manufactured before October 1997) I have a pair and will sell them at
an egregiously high price. The only restriction to water that I can
think of other than the cost issues you listed would be the fat fryer.
Remember that there was a separate listing page just for EA-1s in that
application and it was pulled by the manufacturer. See Grinnell Tech
data Book Update for 10 Dec. 1997: Products no Longer Offered for
Sale-TD725 Deep Fat Fryer Automatic Spray Nozzle. There follows a long
explanation of what uses remain listed.
