Good Morning Gents: Quick question regarding Elevator Equipment Rooms: is it permissible for a sprinkler line to pass through the equipment room? The line supply's the head in the room (which is shunt trip protected) and also a couple other heads in the adjacent rooms. The GC is telling me that the elevator company is telling him that the state elevator inspector will turn down the installation because the head in the equipment room needs to be on it's own separate line... Any help?
