GUYS_ STOP IT ALREADY

we've been using these for 100 years.
They are simple.
They are codified.
Unless you're willing to submit a proposal to change what we've been doing,
please- this isn't technical.
You'll need backup for your proposal.
take a 5 gal bucket, 8" wrench, and find a parking garage with sprinklers.
do your field research, and submit it.
i'd suggest the first 5 minutes you're onsite, have a fitter with ya- the
more gnarly, the better.
