Matt We have been advised in the UK by Alan Macpherson, AVP, Chief Engineering Technical Specialist that FM have amended their stance on the maximum area that can be protected by one sprinkler riser. The “no limit” rule has been removed and they will be recommending a 5500m2 limit on new installations. This equals 59,000 square feet.
