You're welcome Paul, I had fun-- my first two-source calc! If it is close to correct and you connect hyd #1 to hyd #2 with 6.11 x 380 feet with 2 ells, hyd #2 is 50 feet above hyd #1, and the original flow tests of #1= (50,40,750) and #2= (128,8,265) are accurate, and the Water Dept let's you use enough of 'their' water to let you flush, test, and re-flow test, I think what will happen is:
@ Hyd #1--- 150,40,996 @ Hyd #2--- 128,20,772 I sooo wanted to meet with the Water Dept and ask, "was someone here intentionally this cruel to that fire plug or has there been some horrible accident"? :) Brad ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi Brad, I didn't realize that attachments weren't allowed. As it turns out, the fire department just required the installation of the line connecting the two supplies and we will see what happens. Thanks for your help... _______________________________________________ Sprinklerforum mailing list [email protected] http://lists.firesprinkler.org/listinfo.cgi/sprinklerforum-firesprinkler.org
