I have a 12 story project with a partial stairwell on the top 3 floors. The AHJ is requiring a standpipe at this partial stairwell. My question is to I need to run another vertical feed from the pump on the first floor, or can I do a horizontal feed off the standpipe in the opposite stairwell on the upper level?
