Hi Chris, This is "Ovid" replying from yet another email address (the one that's actually on the SQL Ledger mailing list). I have no desire to start a flame war, so I will offer the following: I would be happy to respond to the points you raised if the users on this list express a willingness to discuss them. If it looks like flames are going to start, then I don't want to be involved. I've seen enough flame wars to want to be involved in them. (for the Godwin's Law afficianado's, just call me a Nazi and get it over with ;) And please note, to those who don't know me, that I am not saying that SQL Ledger is a bad product. I am saying that, due to my review of the code, it is not suitable for use where I work. Those are, to me, entirely separate issues. And, of course, since I'm probably an unknown entity to most, I could just be some patzer out there with no clue as to what he is talking about. Chris, if you would prefer to discuss this with me off list, feel free to reply to any of my myriad email addresses :) Unless I see a consensus on the list that people want to see a response from me, I'd prefer not to get the coals glowing.
