I get the same error regarding conversion of VARCHAR to BINARY. The difference is that I am using pyodbc and unixODBC instead of pymssql. Is anyone else using BINARY columns in MS SQL successfully? If so, could you share some sample code so that I can figure out what I'm doing wrong?
