This is really strange. I'm using a mac with leopard which comes with version 3.4.0 installed. I've installed 3.6.11, and it installs successfully as far as I can tell, but then when I check the version with sqlite3 --version in terminal, the version is shows that the installed version is STILL 3.4.0.
