Yeah, scrobbling has been working fine for me in 7.7.1 and all prior versions of 7.x. The only thing it doesn't work for is Rhapsody channels/radio (reported as a bug). It seems sometimes you need to delete and re-enter your credentials and/or remove and reinstall the last.fm app/plugin when this happens.
