It's even worse you can listen on a computer free anywhere , you can
sign on for a paid premium about anywhere too.

But embedded devices like Squeezeboxes or Phones can have further
restrictions, like country so it's geo ip too . You must pay premium
and live in the right country , premium membership alone would not help
you.

Squeezeboxes in Eu is restricted to GB,FR,DE how the phone apps fare I
don't know (but to geo ip a phone app would be exceptionally silly
considering all travel people do ).

I'm very against geo ip restrictions and dvd regions and similar
consumer apartheid but what can we do.
