The thread is about scrobbling, but you are talking about Radio. Last FM Radio does require a subscription, but scrobbling does not. In LMS, there is the Last.FM Radio plugin and also a Last.FM Audioscrobbler plugin. If you want to play radio you need a subscription and the Last.FM Radio plugin and the Last.FM app from mysb.com. Without a subscription you can still use the Radio plugin to browse bios, friends recent plays, etc. If you want scrobbling you need the Audioscrobbler plugin and the Last.FM app from mysb.com. There is also a third party scrobbling plugin (Squeezescrobbler) if the Logitech one doesn't work for you.
