Well, Bob I hope your fear of fires does not apply to most of us StarMaxen

And just to set the record straight, the suggestion was to keep your StarMax
plugged in and shut down. I have done so since I purchased my Max (the very
first month StarMax were sold) and have had no need for a battery yet.
Now can you let this thread die a peaceful death without any more long pages
of quotes?
