David, I'm new to this group so I may not be posting correctly. I've got a Starmax 5000/225 with 8.0 software and want to upgrade from 8.0 to 9.1. I experienced MAJOR problems trying to upgrade to 8.? a few years ago so left it a 8.o. Problem is, my new high speed internet connection provider says that the minimum requirement is 9.0. Have you heard of any problems with trying to upgrade a 5000/225 (has 64 megs ram) or if it is absolutley necessary to updgrade for high speed connection (the 8.0 is rock solid so I agree with your "if it ain't broke don't fix it statement)
