Although I have a long experience of using Macs,  the only StarMax I 
know is a 4000/200 and can speak only for that.

I overslept this morning, and look at the number of replies you got 
already!  I think the consensus is right. I would go along with Scot 
Holder's reply, in particular, I think he sees the issue as clearly 
as any.
