Now as for the USB 3.5 drive, I think for the price you should get a zip or similiar alternative if you want USB. There is no way anyone should pay the price they charge for USB 3.5 for such an outdated drive. However, with the price of a new 3.5 being so cheap I would myself just replace it. You should be able to find online or even a local place a drive for $30 or less if you buy used.
