You're missing the point - as I understand it, the problem is that while
the Solo is sending the data to the serial port, STFax is decoding it
simultaneously. So, if the cpu isn't decoding it fast enough, STFax
can't keep up with the incoming data.

That's neither appropriate or professional, IMHO. Bombarding Pace isn't
going to do any good. I have found Pace to be very cooperative, even
if it does take ages to get a response. I think the problem in the case
of the Solo is that Pace are the "middlemen" - they didn't make/design
the Solo, so I guess they really don't know the answer and are trying to
find out from company who designed the Solo.
