That's a bit harsh, isn't it - so, STFax doesn't download faxes from
the Solo's independent mode satisfactorily, *but* why don't you use
STFax to receive the faxes directly for the time being, instead of using
the Solo's independent mode?  That way, you won't have any of the above
problems.
